Any parent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parentis (Latin for “in the place of a parent”) for a student at the school may be a member and shall have voting rights. The principal and any teacher employed at the school may be a member and have voting rights. Members have one vote per household. To sign up to become a member, please fill out our Membership Form. We will contact you to confirm you membership. NOTE: In order to volunteer at the school, remember that you have to be VIPS-cleared by HISD. VIPS stands for Volunteers in Public Schools. To learn more about that process, click here. Volunteers must renew their VIPS-clearance every year.

Membership does not require a time commitment, but we encourage every member to volunteer as your schedule allows. We have a variety of opportunities and would love to work alongside you!
