Any parent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parentis (Latin for “in the place of a parent”) for a student at the school may be a member and shall have voting rights. The principal and any teacher employed at the school may be a member and have voting rights. Members have one vote per household. NOTE: In order to volunteer at the school, remember that you have to be VIPS-cleared by HISD. VIPS stands for Volunteers in Public Schools. Membership does not require a time commitment, but we encourage every member to volunteer as your schedule allows. We have a variety of opportunities and would love to work alongside you!

Membership is an optional $5 contribution per year as of the 2024-25 school year.
